Open moduleMarket signal: U.S. distillate
Distillate fuel oil includes on-highway diesel, other diesel uses, and heating oil. EIA product supplied measures barrels leaving the primary supply system for U.S. use, so it can track broad domestic diesel demand when diesel makes up much of the category. Heating demand, inventory changes, and the difference between product supplied and actual end use can also move the series. Compare it with separately reported exports below.

Product supplied + exports
Thousand barrels per day · same vertical scale
Annual EIA estimates: Production · Imports · Product supplied · Exports. Availability = refinery & blender net production + imports; domestic use is EIA product supplied. Stacks are separate supply and disposition views; inventory changes and other balance items can make their totals differ.
